Lindsay says, "I don't know what I would do if I lost you. That makes me really nervous. It's time to write wishes on lanterns and send them sailing. Their wishes are for "love, happiness and family. Says Sean to the cameras, "At this moment, I really think she's the one for me. Catherine, in rolled up jeans shorts and a T-shirt, runs to hug Sean. They kiss. She starts jumping around with excitement as an elephant ambles up to them. Sean and Catherine put on matching blue pants and climb aboard.
They walk around on the elephant, taking in the view. They wind up laying together on a porch. Later, he goes to her room for their final night. He says he's "thankful" for their journey and for her. They toast each other. Catherine decides to open up, "I've been really nervous to put myself out there because I know you can't express fully how you feel about me.
I feel like we've grown so much together. When I met your family, it blew my mind, to be honest. I'm really lucky to have met them. I know how incredible you are. As they snuggle together on a couch, she says, "I honestly can't see any other way it's going down than me accepting your proposal. Finally, he gets up to leave. They stand by the door and we hear the sound of a heartbeat. She confesses, "I was looking at him and hoping I could see a glimmer of 'I want to be with you forever.
I feel like something's coming down on me. To the cameras, she says, "I can't get anything out of him! Back in the studio, Chris Harrison talks to an audience member, who predicts Sean will choose Lindsay, but isn't sure. Another audience member says it could go either way.
As Sean "searches his heart," we get a few shirtless shots of him. Earlier in the episode, Sean had a heart-to-heart with his mom about his tough choice. During their date, Catherine explained how worried she gets about making herself vulnerable to Sean.
